“LA BIOCHORISTA” a unique symbiosis between La BIOMISTA, nature & heavenly choral sounds.
During a fairytale evening walk in the twilight of this beautiful park, the public is surprised by the heavenly sounds of 6 international top choirs.
Moreover, this concert gives the listener the unique opportunity to discover LABIOMISTA at dusk.

10:30 - 12:30: The Singing Tables
The Singing Tables are a household name in Genk and the surrounding area and cannot be missing from this festival. With a delicious drink in hand, you sing casually with literally everyone sitting around and next to you at the table, accompanied by live instruments such as piano, guitar, and accordion.
“I am continually fascinated by the forces that emerge when people sing together,” says Jeroen Vanesser, the driving force behind the Zingende Tafels . “It is incredible how a special connection is formed, how energy bubbles up and flows between singing people. Singing together creates a warm society, for sure!”
If you would like to sing well-known Flemish classics and international hits, you are welcome. You absolutely do not need to be an experienced singer to participate. Fun, meeting people, and the social aspect are central. Participation is FREE. Please register in advance.

10:45 - 17:00: competition
In the classical music category , 9 selected choirs with equal or mixed voices sing a 25-minute competition program including a compulsory work specially composed for IKV-Genk by the Flemish composer Hans Helsen.
Competition ticket: €10
This ticket is valid on Saturday and Sunday and grants access to the closing ceremony.

20:00 - 22:00: International Choirs Gala Concert
This will definitely be a spectacular evening of ‘pure musical magic’! The participating competition choirs will enchant you with a programme that will leave vocal sparks flying. Expect unique and amazing musical surprises: hits in spectacular vocal performance as well as emotion and pure passion.
And , oh yes.... afterwards, the Vocal Party 2026 will start in our Festival Bar late into the night.
