Tijdens een feeërieke avondwandeling in de schemering van dit schitterende park wordt het publiek verrast door de hemelse klanken van 6 internationale topkoren.
Bovendien geeft dit concert de toehoorder de unieke kans om LABIOMISTA bij valavond te ontdekken.

Dit koor werd in 2023 opgericht door dirigent Evi Bex, binnen de koorvereniging VocalSZ. Het idee was eenvoudig maar ambitieus: een groep zangeressen samenbrengen die nét dat beetje extra uitdaging willen. Sommige kwamen uit Popkoor Vocalicious, anderen waren nieuwe gezichten… maar allemaal delen ze dezelfde passie. Vocal Ecstasy bestaat uit 17 zangeressen, verdeeld over vijf stemgroepen: lage en hoge sopraan, lage en hoge alt, en mezzo. En wat hen bijzonder maakt? Zij zingen volledig a capella. Geen instrumenten, geen begeleiding – alleen stem, klank en muzikale energie. De voorbije twee jaar werkten ze intens aan hun sound. Wekelijkse repetities, en daarnaast coaching door nationale én internationale toppers zoals Ruben Smits (NL), Merel Martens (NL), Jo Annemans (NL), Bianca Van Dreumel (NL), Julian Knörzer (D), Deke Sharon (US), Tine Fris (DK) en nog vele anderen. Alles met één doel: samen groeien in techniek, expressie en het vinden van die ene, herkenbare ensembleklank. En dat harde werk heeft resultaat opgeleverd. Deelnames en prestaties: Korenfestival Vlaanderen – Kontich (april 2025): Eerste Publieksprijs European Choir Games – Aarhus, Denemarken (juli 2025): Zilveren Diploma – Level VI, score 15,63/20 (78,15%) Koor&Stem Wedstrijd – Hasselt (oktober 2025): Gouden beoordeling, score 83,9% Kortom: Vocal Ecstasy is een relatief jonge groep, maar met grote ambitie en vooral een enorme gedrevenheid.
This choir was founded in 2023 by conductor Evi Bex, as part of the VocalSZ choir association. The idea was simple yet ambitious: to bring together a group of female singers who were looking for that little bit of extra challenge. Some came from the pop choir Vocalicious, others were new faces… but they all share the same passion. Vocal Ecstasy consists of 17 singers, divided into five vocal sections: low and high soprano, low and high alto, and mezzo. And what makes them special? They sing entirely a cappella. No instruments, no accompaniment – just voice, sound and musical energy. Over the past two years, they have worked intensively on their sound. Weekly rehearsals, alongside coaching from leading national and international figures such as Ruben Smits (NL), Merel Martens (NL), Jo Annemans (NL), Bianca Van Dreumel (NL), Julian Knörzer (D), Deke Sharon (US), Tine Fris (DK) and many others. All with a single goal: to grow together in technique, expression and finding that one, recognisable ensemble sound. And that hard work has paid off.
