“LA BIOCHORISTA” a unique symbiosis between La BIOMISTA, nature & heavenly choral sounds.
During a fairytale evening walk in the twilight of this beautiful park, the public is surprised by the heavenly sounds of 6 international top choirs.
Moreover, this concert gives the listener the unique opportunity to discover LABIOMISTA at dusk.

JUVEM - Junges Vokalensemble Meilen

JUVEM is een jong kamerkoor dat zeer toegewijde zangers met uiteenlopende muzikale achtergronden samenbrengt. Veel leden studeren aan de Kunstuniversiteit Zürich (ZHdK), terwijl anderen zingen in toonaangevende koren in heel Zwitserland of afkomstig zijn van het in Meilen gevestigde jeugdkoor JuMP!. Hun gezamenlijke ervaring zorgt voor een ensembleklank die zich onderscheidt door helderheid, stilistisch inzicht en muzikale diepgang.
Het ensemble werd vijf jaar geleden opgericht door Ernst Buscagne, cantor van de Hervormde Kerk in Meilen en docent koordirectie aan de Zürichse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten. De programma's combineren veeleisende meesterwerken uit het koorrepertoire met werken van componisten van een jongere generatie, zoals Nilo Alcala en Kevin Puts. Hoogtepunten van de afgelopen twee jaar zijn onder meer O Magnum Mysterium van Marcus Paus, het motet Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied van Johann Sebastian Bach en Urlicht van Clytus Gottwald. Een recente concerttournee naar Berlijn onderstreepte eens te meer de artistieke veelzijdigheid en ambitie van het ensemble.
JUVEM is a young chamber choir bringing together highly dedicated singers from diverse musical backgrounds. Many members study at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), while others sing in leading choirs across Switzerland or come from the Meilen-based youth choir JuMP!. Their combined experience shapes an ensemble sound distinguished by clarity, stylistic awareness, and musical depth.
The ensemble was founded five years ago by Ernst Buscagne, cantor of the Reformed Church Meilen and professor of choral conducting at the Zurich University of the Arts. Its programmes combine demanding masterworks of the choral repertoire with works by composers of a younger generation, such as Nilo Alcala and Kevin Puts. Highlights of the past two years include O Magnum Mysterium by Marcus Paus, the Johann Sebastian Bach motet Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied, and Urlicht by Clytus Gottwald. A recent concert tour to Berlin further showcased the ensemble’s artistic versatility and ambition.
